The presentation schedule is now live on the website and we will have a PDF available soon.  Please take a look and make note of your presentation date, time and location.  You can search the page (Control F on PC or Command F on Mac) to search by name or presentation title:  https://itc2016.educ.ubc.ca/scientific-program/schedule/

You can also use the search function on the Presentation page located at https://itc2016.educ.ubc.ca/scientific-program/presentations/, and click on the abstract to see the full details.

Have you registerd for an ITC pre-conference workshop?

All participants are invited to register for half-day or full-day pre-conference workshop on Friday, July 1. Seats are limited, and lunch is included for all participants.

If you have already registered for the ITC 2016 Conference and would like to add a workshop to your registration, simply login with your email address at https://www.eply.com/itc2016/login to update your account.

Early Bird Registration – April 30!

A reminder that Early Bird Registration ends on April 30, 2016 to receive the Early Bird rates!

* All presenters must register before April 30, 2016 – the Early Bird deadline – so we can complete and publish the Final Program for the 2016 Conference.  Presentations with no registered presenters before the deadline will be excluded from the final program.

Best Student Paper Awards – Final Reminder

Dear ITC Participants, this is a final reminder that the submission deadline for the Best Student Paper Awards is this Friday, April 15, 2016.

Student presenters for either a paper or a poster are eligible to submit your full paper (either single-author or first-author paper) to the Best Student Paper Awards Competition.

Preliminary Program & Special Events

We have now posted the Preliminary Schedule for the ITC 2016 Conference.  We hope you will join us at some of the special events, including the Vancouver Harbour Cruise and the Gala Dinner at Grouse Mountain:  https://itc2016.educ.ubc.ca/conference-details/program/

VISA LETTER for PRESENTERS

If you are travelling to Canada to present at the ITC 2016 Conference, please ensure you review the Visa Information.  If you do require a Visa Letter, your registration fees must be paid in full before we can provide the letter of support.

Please be aware that visa processing times can take up to 12 weeks to process.  Submit the Request for Visa Support Letter as soon as possible.

Author Notification – slight delay

Please be advised that due to an unexpected large number of submissions, there is a slight delay in the acceptance/rejection notification. Author notification will be sent by email by the end of this week.

As we approach the final week for proposal submissions and prepare for the review process, we’d like to remind all authors and reviewers to please check your spam or junk email folders and to add our email address to your “safe senders” list:  itc.2016@ubc.ca.

Call for Proposals – deadline extended to January 15

We have extended the ITC 2016 Call for Proposals to January 15, 2016.  We encourage you to submit your proposal as early as possible, but are pleased to offer the extension to accommodate those who require extra time to final proposals.

Workshop Submissions – now closed

Thank you to everyone who submitted a workshop proposal, this category is now closed.

The ITC 2016 Conference Committee will soon be posting the workshop schedule to the website, we will post an announcement here once it is live.
