Call for Reviewers

The International Test Commission is seeking volunteers to serve as peer reviewers for submissions to the 2016 conference to be held in Vancouver from July 1-4, 2016.  We rely on your breadth and depth of expertise in testing/assessment to review the contents and quality of the submissions for the conference program. We deeply value your participation in shaping the program for the conference and contributing to the field of testing, assessment and measurement. The deadline to sign-up as a volunteer reviewer is December 21, 2015.

Volunteers selected to join review panels will receive an invitation in early December, 2015. Reviewers will receive assignments organized by sub-themes (tracks) in mid-January 2016. Each reviewer will typically be asked to review a minimum of 10 abstracts in total, each of 300 words. The actual number of assignments will fluctuate depending on the final number of submissions to each sub-theme and the number of selected volunteer reviewers.

Reviewers will have a 3-week time period to complete the reviews. Please keep this in mind as you consider volunteering your service and contribution.

Both ITC and non-ITC members may volunteer for consideration as a peer reviewer. Doctoral students who are ABD (all but dissertation) are encouraged to volunteer as a reviewer.

You will be asked to identify two sub-themes (in bullet points) from any of the four areas. First, choose a sub-theme that is the best match to your area of expertise, and then continue to choose the second best match.
